Family Fun and Information Day

ABA Katherine Group had a wonderful opportunity to promote our group and the services we provide at a Family Fun Day in Katherine, with over 1,200 people attending the event. The Family Fun Day included a performance by the Bananas in Pyjamas and Spot the dog. Tammy Betts ran the ABA display as part of an assessment task for her training in the Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education (Counselling). Breastfeeding literature was handed out to pregnant and breast feeding mums, and we also had people express an interest in subscribing to ABA and attending our group meetings. One of the major highlights of the day was having a number of group members volunteer to help run the stall over the four hours. Our group is really going from strength-to-strength!

Your Toddler and the New Baby Discussion Meeting

ABA Katherine Group met in July to talk about 'Your Toddler and the New Baby' at the Jurassic Cycad Gardens, with lots of mums, babies and toddlers enjoying the beautiful day together.
